My name is Iunus and I am 29 years old. I work as a chef specializing in Uzbek, Asian and European cuisine, accumulating over 8 years of valuable experience. Throughout my career I have found that I have excellent organizational and communication skills, which I am eager to use in volunteer opportunities. Language learning is one of my passions and I already speak four languages and plan to learn a fifth. The AELV organization has played an important role in helping me achieve my goals and gain new experiences as a volunteer. I am particularly attracted to their values, which prioritize supporting and educating the younger generation. Being part of the AELV community gives me immense joy and satisfaction.
My name is Veronika and I am from Slovakia.
I previously worked in an elementary school as an after-school teacher and with children with special needs.
Coming to Jerez and volunteering with AELV is one of the best decisions of my life. I learned new things, improved my interpersonal skills and learned Spanish. At the same time, I appreciate the work I am doing to promote EU mobility opportunities among local youth.
I am Nurjona, an EFL teacher and researcher from Albania, interested in EU education and youth policies. I strongly believe that working closely with young people is the best way to create a lasting and positive impact on society. Volunteering with AELV allows me to participate in important conversations about EU values and to learn firsthand about the perspective of local youth. I could not be happier to live in Jerez and learn Spanish while immersing myself in Andalusian culture.
